About the
Authors and Main Illustrator
Dr. Diana Chavez Ketterman received a
doctorate degree in educational psychology from the
University of California at Riverside. With over 30
years experience, she works as a nationally certified
school and licensed education psychologist and an
at-risk community college counselor in Southern
California in the role of
Success Coach.
She is the CEO
of the non-profit Character Champions Foundation that
trains
Character Coaches
to promote
wellness and Psychological Wealth®
by
incorporating Character Champions®
leadership and selfdevelopment skills for youth and
adults.
Dr. K.
shares her expertise internationally with families,
school districts, hospitals, and civic/business
organizations, including Disney, CSEA, Ketterman
Holdings, American Mini Storage, community colleges,
state universities, ESI, and Primerica.
Lucille Aiken taught high school English
emphasizing speech, creative writing, language
development, reading, and drama education for over 33
years. She is a credentialed teacher, a certified
English language acquisition instructor and a master
level 7 Character Champions ®
Trainer
and Character Success Coach. She is currently teaching
creative writing using the Character Champions®
Code in a
Chinese school in Southern California. Lucy continues to
develop K-12 lesson plans for teachers, parents,
Character Coaches, and corporate trainers.
Cindy Yan Fu has two USA Masters
education degrees in cognitive and school psychology. An
established school psychologist and California licensed
educational psychologist, she serves as a Character
Champions®
“coaching bridge” between China and the
USA by teaching and practicing positive psychology in
both countries for over 17 years. Her dream is to help
people see the value of learning and using positive
psychology tools so that it creates international
harmony.
